KEY INGREDIENTS

5.5% Benzoyl Peroxide: A common and effective acne ingredient with fast acting properties. Effaclar Duo uses micronized benzoyl peroxide; milled to a consistent small size that allows for deep penetration into the pores. An ideal choice for those concerned with red, raised acne blemishes and pimples.
Lipo-Hydroxy Acid: Also known as LHA, it’s a derivative of salicylic acid, and has exfoliating and skin surface renewing properties.
Glycerin: Derived from vegetable sources, it’s an excellent humectant. It helps hydrate skin by absorbing water from the surrounding environment.
Silica: A type of powder with a spherical bead shape that provides a silky feel and soft focus effect. It is lightweight and is able to absorb a significant amount of oil from skin.

How to Use :

Step 1: Medicated Gel Cleanser

Cleanser 2x daily, morning and evening. Wet face, apply quarter size amount onto fingers, and only using fingertips, apply gently on face in a rotating circular motion.

Avoid getting into the eyes. Rinse face wash thoroughly. Gently pat dry using a soft towel. Keep out of reach of children.

Step 2: Clarifying Solution

Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying this acne face toner. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times a day. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.

Sunburn Alert: This product contains Alpha Hydroxyl (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Use sunscreen while using this product.

Step 3: Duo Acne Treatment

Clean the skin thoroughly before applying this acne treatment cream. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily. Because excessive dryness of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor.

If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If going outside, apply sunscreen after using this acne cream. If irritation or sensitivity develops, stop use and ask a doctor. Do not use if you have sensitive skin or are sensitive to Benzoyl Peroxide. Keep out of reach of children.
